What Happens Next?
Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 3 business days. Verification: We will verify your identity to protect your data. This may take 1-3 business days. Response Time:
- Standard requests: We will respond within 30 days of verification
- Complex requests: May extend to 60 days (we will notify you if this applies)
- CCTV footage: Typically 30 days (may be longer if third-party data requires redaction)
Fees: Most requests are free of charge. We may charge a reasonable fee for:
- Manifestly unfounded or excessive requests
- Additional copies of the same information
- CCTV footage (administrative costs only)
Delivery: Your data will be delivered securely via your preferred method:

- Physical copies sent via recorded delivery
- CCTV footage on encrypted USB or secure download link

Exemptions and Limitations
We May Not Be Able to Provide:
- Data that includes information about other individuals (third-party data)
- Data subject to legal privilege
- Data that would prejudice crime prevention/detection
- Data we are legally required to retain (e.g., SIA records)
- Data that is disproportionately difficult to retrieve
CCTV Specific:
- We may redact other individuals from footage
- We may refuse requests that prejudice crime prevention
- Retention periods may mean footage no longer exists (typically 31 days)
For California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
In addition to the rights above, California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal data is collected, used, shared, or sold
- Delete personal data
- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal data
- Non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights
